Throughout the month, I collect different stories, podcasts, articles, etc. that I think you might like. Here are some of my favorites--I hope there's something below that you find a connection with!

FEBRUARY SHARES
  • 16 Reasons I Love Winter I loved this post by Amanda Sue Creasey. It not only gives a new perspective on those of us who may be feeling a little over winter at this point but it also reminds us to look for the gratitude, beauty, and joy even when it's a little harder / it's something we don't like! (PS: The ice image below is from this newsletter and there's more beautiful photos! PPS: Less than 20 days until spring!)
  • Cutie wool sculptures that I think will make you smile
  • How Is Your Creative Capacity? Episode 274 - Art Juice Podcast. This thought from Louise really struck a cord with me on carving out time when you're a caretaker (taking care of animal companions count too!)
    • “Lots of us deal with caring for somebody or having responsibilities for other people who cant look after themselves necessarily…with that it's just not possible to say I'm going to carve out time….caring takes up a huge amount of time and emotional energy and t's stressful and draining and I don't think you can create amazing things at the same time." 
      For me, it's more that it's OK if you can't create at the same time. On the flip side she does add that some people continue to be very creative during these times! We need to listen to ourselves and do what works.

  • Keeping Siblings In Foster Care Together Kim shared this story about Christian Bale's 16 year passion project and how it's come to fruition! I had to pass on this feel good and inspiring story!
  • A 100 Day Freebie For You: If you're working on a 100 Day Project and want to jot down some short daily notes click here for a template to use. The top part is blank so you can add the title of your project. I made this for myself because after day 10, I have a hard time keeping things straight!
