High-Protein Cottage Cheese Waffles
(25g Protein Each)
These waffles are crispy, fluffy, and loaded with protein—no protein powder needed!
Ingredients:
(Makes 2 Large Waffles, ~25g Protein Each)
• ¾ cup cottage cheese (~21g protein)
• ½ cup Greek yogurt (~10g protein)
• 2 eggs (~12g protein)
• ¼ cup whole milk (~2g protein)
• 2 tbsp melted butter
• ½ cup flour (~6g protein)
• 1 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your waffle iron and grease it lightly with butter.
In a blender or mixing bowl, whisk together cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, eggs, whole milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet, stirring until just combined. Don’t overmix!
Pour the batter into your waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crisp.
Serve with butter, maple syrup, fresh fruit, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
