What's the point in making health a priority, if all you ever do with that health is work?
We took a couple days over Spring Break to checkout Oklahoma's new Indoor Waterpark - Okana! Our whole family had fun!
A couple things to be aware of if you're considering going:
There's more to do in the water for kiddos ages 6+ (our twins did have fun, but there were just a couple spots they were comfortable in or tall enough for).
The “lazy river” is in fact not lazy. They call it the “Enchanted River,” but we called it the “crazy river” - it has a decent current, and there are waterfalls and fountains throughout. Again, the older kids loved it. The twins and mom had different feelings.
But overall it was a great experience and we will return!
Dr. Daniel had a couple trips in March.
First he traveled to Austin, TX to learn how to better assess and address
retained primitive reflexes, which he's been doing with children
and adults in practice and seeing some great improvement!
His second trip was back to Texas to compete in a DDR tournament.
Yes, really; he's serious about cardio being enjoyable!
March was bittersweet for the whole Hackney team as Clare accepted a full-time position and we are so excited for this opportunity, and to see how she flourishes there - but that also means that we don't have her smiling face and awesome skills in the clinic anymore.
