Welcome to Part 2 of Lucid Dreaming!

By now you’ve cleared your energy before bed, set intentions regarding your dreamspace, reprogrammed negative dreams and practiced awake lucid dreaming with daydreaming.

You’ve also listened to the workshop!

Before we get to the next part of the journey, let’s take a moment to inhale, exhale, clear our energy field and ask for the highest light to step forward.

The body naturally initiates its repair process at night and part of the reason for some dreams is to clear out energies picked up during the day.

These dreams are called release dreams - we practiced reprogramming and rewriting these dreams in the first part of the journey to make the way for newer, more restorative dreamscapes.
Release dreams can be confusing, preposterous and disturbing. They often include themes like being in a time warp (i.e. you’re back in high school again) or being chased by something evil (i.e. you or a loved one is a victim of a violent crime).

But, they serve a purpose - it is through these dreams that we discard the every day mental and emotional garbage our energy bodies collect.

Without them, all that pent up energy would create a build up of emotional stress that can result in other, potentially more undesirable situations.

So these release dreams, sometimes called “nightmares,” can be worth it - at the very least, they act as a discharge channel for these energies.

They aren’t prophetic and they aren’t a reflection of some bizarre subconscious wish. They are our subconscious releasing our worst case scenario fears.

What I like most about them is that they give us a window into our unexpressed emotions and feelings, feelings that we’re often too busy or too afraid to confront.

If you experienced any release dreams in the first part of the journey, keep in mind this is just part of the dreaming experience and it does have a reason.

This week we’re moving into another aspect of the experience.
