Hello First name / friend, From my home office (a.k.a. the ECPP headquarters), I’ve been keeping my ear to the ground, sharing relevant updates, and pulling together this newsletter for you. Alongside that, the committee and I have been busy developing a Road Map to complement our strategic plan, as well as a funding model. This week, we’re catching up with the TAS Farm Innovation Hub to share our progress. Since the Hub has supported this as a pilot project, we’ll be exploring how our work over the past two years could be scaled to help other farming groups across Tasmania connect, learn, and build resilience. I also attended what’s almost the final meeting of the Project Advisory Group for the Regional Drought Resilience Plan for Southern Tasmania. CSIRO has reviewed the plan to ensure it aligns with national frameworks, and if you’d like to have your say, you can review the survey and share your feedback here. Another highlight this month was a Breakfast Panel on AgriTech, hosted by the Hub. The discussion focused on precision agriculture in the berry industry, with agribusiness professionals and AgriTech companies coming together to share insights. I’m looking forward to stepping away from the desk and catching up with you all at our next workshop in April—keep an eye out for the final details in the next couple of weeks! As always, feel free to reach out via phone or email if there’s anything on your mind. Cheers, Tahnee |
