Hey First name / friend,
You ever design something, get all excited about it, and then the second you actually make it, you’re like… hmm, that’s not it? That was me this week with my Mother’s Day files.
On my screen? Perfect. But, in real life? Ehh… not so great. Something definitely felt off once the physical product was in my hand.
And then came the dilemma: Do I pretend it’s fine and move on? Or do I spend a few more hours fixing it, cutting it again, and making sure I actually like it?
I really didn’t want to redo it, but I also didn’t want to put out something that made me cringe every time I saw it. So, I sighed dramatically, made the tweaks, and now, finally, it’s something I love.
Moral of the story - sometimes a design doesn’t hit the same in real life as it does on the screen, and that’s just part of the process sometimes. No need to overthink it. Tweak, test, and keep going!
Anyway, if you want to see what I ended up with, there’s a sneak peek of my Mother's Day designs at the end of this email. (And yes, they passed the real-world test this time *high five*🖐️)
