There was a time when I wanted to feel less stressed, more energized, and more confident in my body.
 
But instead of making choices that moved me forward, I was making excuses:
 
Skipping workouts because I was too busy.
Grabbing whatever was quick instead of a healthy option.
Pushing through exhaustion instead of taking breaks.
Saying “I’ll start Monday” instead of starting today.
 
And then I wondered why I felt stuck.
 
Until I came across a question that shifted my mindset:
 
What would future me—one year from now—want me to do today?
 
So I started making choices for her, not just for how I felt in the moment. She wanted to feel energized. She wanted to look confident in her favorite bikini. She wanted to feel less stressed. And I wanted to honor that, so my choices soon looked like…
 
Moving my body, even if just for 10 minutes.
Prepping lunch so I had healthy options.
Resting so I had energy to show up fully.
Setting boundaries and sticking to them.
 
That shift? It changed the game for me. Because the small choices I made for her 5 years ago? They shaped the version of me you see today.
 
Now, let’s talk about you, boo.
 
I want you to picture yourself one year from now.
 
You wake up feeling strong, clear-headed, and energized. Your body moves with ease. Your confidence is undeniable. You feel at home in yourself.
 
Now ask yourself—what did past you do to get here?
 
That workout you showed up for vs. the one you skipped.
Those boundaries you set vs. the ones you ignored.
The moments you chose rest vs. the times you pushed past exhaustion.
 
Because your future self? She’s not built in one big moment. She’s shaped by the small choices you make every single day.

AFFIRM
Say this with me (3x):
 
Every small step I take today is shaping my strongest, happiest self.

 
REFLECT
Think of one thing you can do today that your future self would be grateful for. Maybe it’s starting that strength routine, drinking more water, or saying no to something draining your energy.

 
MOVE
Instead of thinking “I don’t feel like working out”, reframe it to “I’ll be glad I worked out.” Show up in a way your future self will appreciate.

What you eat today fuels how you feel tomorrow. Choose one meal or snack that gives you lasting energy—think protein, fiber, and healthy fats instead of a quick sugar or caffeine spike. Your body will thank you later!

Schedule a small future-you action. Maybe it’s meal prepping, setting your workout clothes out, or blocking off time for a mental health break.
