Welcome to our March Newsletter!

With spring bursting into life around us, we’re kicking off this edition by celebrating a new generation of creative talent.

Over the past year, a small group of our young people at Nova, alongside participants from City Lions and Harrow Club, have been on an incredible journey as part of the Young Producers Programme in partnership with Historic Royal Palaces. They have played a leading role in designing every aspect of Dress Codes—a groundbreaking, collaborative fashion exhibition at Kensington Palace.

Working with top industry experts, they have been inspired by iconic royal classics to create stunning dresses, interactive quizzes, short films, original music and more. Their hard work culminated in an exclusive fashion show at Kensington Palace on 18th February, where they wowed an audience of fashion industry leaders, cultural influencers and proud families.

We’ll be sharing more about our Young Producers and their achievements soon, but in the meantime, you can experience their creativity up close and firsthand! The Dress Codes exhibition is now open to the public, included in standard admission to Kensington Palace. Don’t miss the chance to be inspired by the incredible work of Nova’s Young Producers!

Exhibition runs until 30th November 2025. Book your tickets here.

Conversations for change
Seeing past the label

Earlier this month, we hosted The School of Humanity at UNDR in collaboration with Westway Trust.

Volunteer Living Subjects—bearing titles like Political Asylum, Robot Heart, School Dropout and Relationship Anarchist—shared their personal stories in deep and open conversations, inviting others to see beyond the label.

We call it a live learning experience because perspectives shift when minds are open and dialogue is honest.
Exploring the world of journalism
Not just the headlines

Last week, some of our Nova Youth group had the fantastic opportunity to join an online session with Chris Ancil, an experienced journalist with an impressive career, including 17 years at the BBC.

Chris shared insights into the many aspects of journalism—beyond just being in front of the camera—helping our young people understand the skills, challenges, and opportunities in the field.

This session was an essential boost as they prepare for their upcoming podcast project with Morley College—stay tuned for more updates!
