COLOR CODED ITINERARIES

Hey First name / friend!

If you missed it (and honestly, who’s paying that much attention?), the 2025 Pantone Color of the Year was revealed as… Mocha Mousse.

Not exactly a showstopper, but I love it, and it fits my travel mood board.

Interestingly enough, it seems to fit everyone's mood right now, fashionista's are all noting this years design collections are beige.   Maybe since our world is a bit “colorful” right now?!

Warm, earthy tones. Sunbaked landscapes. From Morocco’s dunes to Australia’s red rock gorges, here are four destinations that channel the Mocha Mousse vibe.

Not into Mocha?  How about Cerulean Blue?  Click below for the current issue of Virtuoso Life, which is all about the water.

The Sahara Desert

One of our greatest trips was to the Sahara. Well, it is mine, Sam ate something he should not have, and he knows better!
Golden dunes, warm desert tones, and rich spice market colors—Morocco brings Mocha Mousse to life. Think camel rides across cinnamon-colored sand and starlit nights in luxury camps.
Morocco
Santa Fe

I could easily live in Santa Fe. Earth-toned buildings, desert light, and Southwestern charm—Santa Fe is full of Mocha Mousse energy. Wander adobe-lined streets, browse art galleries, and sip  wine under the glow of golden hour.
New Mexico
Atacama Desert

A bucket list trip for the intrepid traveler.  Rust-colored valleys, mineral-rich landscapes, and skies that stretch forever—the Atacama oozes warm, muted tones. Soak in hot springs, explore Moon Valley, and stargaze in one of the clearest skies on earth.
Chile
Matera

I always come back to Italy, and Matera is a showstopper.
Honey-colored stone, shadowy cave dwellings, and centuries of texture—Matera glows. Sleep in a cave hotel, drink wine on a stone terrace, and wander ancient alleyways that change color with the light.

P.P.S  If you have a vacation in mind, let's talk ASAP.  I am hosting a safari in June, so will not be able to start new or finalize trip designs May 19-June 16.

P.P.P.S  I am crowdsourcing  ideas for a couple of 2026 small trips. Couples or singles.  Group size 8-12ish, May or June 2026.

Here are some of my thoughts, hit reply and let me know yours.

*Southern Spain ( wine, culture, and a riding component for the horse lover)
*Safari ( Kenya and Tanzania,  January or early June)
*River Cruise…Europe?  Wine?  Small intimate boat.  Endless options here.   Weather will be great after mid May.
*Yacht in Croatia to island hop.  This could also work for early  September  2026
*Provence, France  (did you see the sample itinerary I sent out a few weeks ago?)  If not, click the link below.   I don't recommend the heavy pace of travel in this one, but wanted to share some ideas.
