Hello First name / friend!

As we step into a new week of Lent āœļø, I wanted to encourage all of us to try and go to daily mass this week. Prior to writing this email, I had the chance to sneak away to daily mass. (obviously running a few minutes behind - but I made it there before the Gospel!) John watched Sophie while I got to receive Jesus in the Eucharist and I was just humbled by the opportunity. How blessed are we to have the opportunity to receive Him every day? It has been a habit in my life since grade school and I can thank my mom for instilling this habit in me. I was homeschooled until I graduated high school, and my mom always made sure we made it to daily mass at least a few times every week. This became such an important habit that I kept it up during college, grad school, working life and now.

I can just feel the graces being poured out and there is no substitute.✨ Now, my days do look a little different with a baby and I am unable to make it to daily mass every day. But there are days when God opens the door. The beautiful thing is how our Lord can purify anything. Staying home with your kids and can’t make it to mass? How beautiful! You’re living out your specific vocation, and the Lord will shower you with the graces you need. Or perhaps time opened up in your day and you can make it to mass? How wonderful! The Lord is giving you a gift by letting your day open up to receive Him!

I know that daily Mass might not always be available for everyone, but I want to encourage you to see if there’s a way to make it happen at least once this week. If Mass isn’t an option, an Act of Spiritual Communion is a simple but powerful way to remain in Jesus and invite Him into your soul and day.

This whole season of life—pregnancy, labor, delivery, and now postpartum—has been a constant call to remain in His love. And what a gift the Sacraments are in helping us do just that. Some days, my schedule surprises me, and I realize God has carved out an unexpected opening for Mass. I’m learning to recognize these moments for what they are—His gentle invitation—and to lean into them rather than filling the time with something else.

ā˜€ļø So, here’s my encouragement to you this week: ā˜€ļø

1ļøāƒ£ Try to get to daily Mass at least once.

2ļøāƒ£ If you can’t, make an Act of Spiritual Communion.

3ļøāƒ£ Be open to the ways God might be clearing space in your schedule for Him.

This Week's Focus
šŸ™ prayer intention
This week I’m praying for a renewed understanding and trust in the days that seem slow and insignificant; to see them as a blessing rather than a day that needs to be filled with other to-dos.

šŸ’»what's currently working in my business
Communication. Communication. Communication. I was just telling John how important communication is and how it feels like it’s 70% of why someone enjoys working with you. My invitation to you this week is to think of one way to improve/streamline the communication aspect of your business. Whether it’s to clients or customers, think of a way to go the extra mile and communicate with them.

šŸ³what I'm eatin'
I haven’t made this meal yet, but we received it in my postpartum meal train by one of my beautiful friends. It was DELICIOUS and I can’t wait to make it myself!

🌻 what's bringing me joy
Listening to music throughout the day! Currently love Wilder Woods playlists on Spotify!

šŸ‘‹ say hello to Amy Boron!  šŸ‘‹

Amy Boron is a remote bookkeeper and soon-to-be mom of 5. She is the founder of Snowshoe Bookkeeping and does monthly or catch-up bookkeeping for small businesses in QuickBooks Online.

šŸ™ Go-To Prayer
Amy's go-to spiritual discipline is to pray the Surrender Novena! Do you love this novena or what?!

šŸ’»What's her mission?
Her goal is to take the bookkeeping off the business owner's plate so they can spend their time elsewhere!

🌳In her free time…
She and her family live in Adrian Township, Michigan with a good number of meat and egg-laying chickens. When not working, she is homeschooling or enjoying the outdoors with the kids.

🌻 what's bringing her joy
"What brings me joy is that somehow "this" is all working in God's timing and He managed to trick us enough to take the leap.  My husband and I quit and moved to the "country" to farm and do bookkeeping.  We calculated it would work.  In hindsight, if we knew we'd have 2 more kids in 2 years while trying to build 3 businesses, we probably wouldn't have done it!"

 šŸ³ whatcha snackin’ on?
ā€œMy favorite snack is greek yogurt with fruit (or chocolate chips) OR anything with peanut butter.  Pretzels and peanut butter or apples and peanut butter, usually."
