G'day First name / friend, Last year, during a training session, I was introduced to a concept by Eric Edmeades called Hindsight Windows. Here’s what I took away from it: - When you reframe trauma, you turn something that once held you back into something that allows you to move forward.
- The sooner that happens, the happier you will be.
- It’s easier said than done.

As I mentioned before, trauma can be sticky—like hot wax melting into fine fabric. It can change you. I often hear people express a longing to "go back to the person I was before." But is that even possible? A sticky note in my office bears a quote that resonates deeply with me: "A mind, once expanded, can never shrink back to its original size." – Vishen Lakhiani. |

I love how this quote reflects the journey of someone who has found meaning in life’s struggles. These events do change us, but they can also serve as catalysts for growth. It’s rarely the kind of growth we ask for, but in the end, it often comes down to this: Can my pain provide purpose, or will it hold me down? |

Letting go of the rock and rising above the tide can be one of the hardest decisions to make. And for some, it seems impossible. But here’s the thing—it’s completely your choice. It has to be. No one else can make it for you. |

Looking Ahead Next week, we’ll dive deeper—exploring how to transform the weight of our struggles into stepping stones for growth as we pull back the curtains on Hindsight Windows. |
|
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead. |
