Oh, hi! Its been a busy season, and I've got some important announcements…

 
I hope this email/newsletter update finds you and your families well! Spring is upon us! I am excited for sunny weather, gardening, and hanging outside with my kiddos. 
 
I've got some important and fun announcements moving forward as The Milk Academy grows and welcomes its 5th year serving families in their feeding journey's (PHEW! I can hardly believe it!).

Pricing Updates
 
I have absolutely loved being able to use The Lactation Network and Cigna to provide lactation care at zero cost for the last 5 years for certain insurance plans. 
 
With that being said, the cost of providing such care and support continues to go up, without adjustment to our pay as providers. So, after careful consideration, I've had to add an additional admin fee of $40 to all consults, and an additional travel fee + admin fee of $80 to all home visits. This will go into effect for all consults scheduled on April 1st and beyond.

It's been a whole year in this cute little space!
It has almost been one whole year in my sweet little lactation office in the Berkeley/Tennyson Neighborhood with OWN Your Pelvic Health! Feeling so much gratitude for the community of providers and clients (not to mention their sweet cheek babies!) I get to be around every day. What a gift!
 

 
 
My solo practice is growing!
 
 
I'll be welcoming another wonderful, highly skilled IBCLC to my one woman team in April! Im excited to have another like-minded lactation provider to help me provide care to everyone who requests a visit! I'm also excited to carve out a bit more time with my kiddos, who seem to be growing faster than the weeds in my backyard…More news to come when it's official!
 
I will also be welcoming an intern this summer and am excited to help shape the future of lactation care. Look for more formal announcements on my website and the 'gram in the next few months!
