Dr. Bhaswati Bhattacharya, MPH MD, PhD (Pharmacology, Ayurveda Rasa Shastra) is Clinical Asst Professor of Family Medicine in the Dept of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. She serves on the Physician Data Query (PDQ) project at NIH-NCI for Integrative, Alternative, and Complementary Therapies. She is a WHO consultant for the Global Traditional Medicine Center. Prior to starting her solo clinic in Manhattan, she served for 10 years as attending physician in medicine, ob/gyne, and family medicine and as Director of Research & Grants, and Director of CAM at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center of the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare Network. Trained formally in family medicine and preventive medicine, pharmacology, neuroscience, public health, nutrition, ayurveda and also in homeopathy, yoga, and herbal and herbomineral medicines, she works with the spectrum of the Journey through Cancer with patients who come seeking integrative care. She is a senior Fulbright Scholar in medical sciences and author of the bestselling book Everyday Ayurveda.
