For centuries, cultures have gazed at the night sky, crafting unique stories about the stars, including tales of gods, heroes, and ancestral spirits. These celestial myths reflect humanity's efforts to understand the universe, blending mythology with natural observation.
 
Join Barking Gecko Arts at Koorliny Arts Centre for an exhilarating 3-day workshop where you will explore the night sky and create your own star stories. Led by Barking Gecko Arts Teaching Artists, young creatives will develop their characters and learn theatre-making skills while building confidence and fostering self-expression. This inclusive and nurturing environment promotes friendship and fun.
 
Thanks to the generous support of the City of Kwinana, this workshop program is offered at a subsidised rate.
