My Dark Summer collage collection has been updated and is coming soon to Fargo, North Dakota. I don't have anything about this on my website yet, but if you live nearby please save the dates and come check it out in person!

 

I’m must admit I have not made much progress on either project this month. However, I did start another collage for the Altered Altar collection using this crimson rose image from my art journal. 

 

I also ordered a set of cards with my Wicked Plant Art images. They could be called inspiration or oracle cards. I haven’t yet figured out if they will be for sale  - but will let you know if and when they are. Many years ago, my “grown-up” job had me feeling like Julius Caesar on the Ides of March. Aware of the situation, a wise friend apologetically reassured me that “there are little Witches everywhere.” Her comment later became the inspiration for my “Little Witches Everywhere” assemblage (photo below). You just never know when inspiration will strike!

Though I have tried my hand at watercolor painting several times over the years I have never come close to mastering it. So I live vicariously through Rosalie Haizlett. She’s an illustrator, writer, and educator living in West Virginia. She shares her appreciation for the natural world by creating vibrant watercolor art prints, illustrated nature books, and online classes. How fun is that!?!
