SEATTLE, WA – The Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) Greater Seattle Chapter invites the community to the 2025 Doolittle Raiders Memorial Toast on Thursday, April 17, at 2 PM PST at The Museum of Flight. This annual tradition, begun by General Jimmy Doolittle and his fellow Raiders, continues to honor their warfighting spirit, bravery, and innovation.
This year, we are honored to have two descendants of the Doolittle Raiders in attendance:
Chuck Greening, son of Col. Charles Ross Greening, Pilot of Crew 11
Rodney Saylor, son of Lt. Col. Edward Joseph Saylor, Engineer of Crew 15
The event will feature a presentation of colors by the University of Washington AFROTC Color Guard, recognition of family members, a historical presentation by docent David Waggoner, a keynote address broadcast globally, and a commemorative toast.
🔹 WHO CAN ATTEND? Everyone is welcome! Distinguished Visitors, Museum members, AFA members, and ROTC/JROTC/CAP Cadets (and their guests) will receive complimentary entry to the Museum of Flight for the event (RSVP required). All other attendees will need to purchase admission upon arrival.
