This night was the reason for my recent overseas trip, celebrating my brother’s milestone birthday.
The venue (at Zuma HK) was spectacular, and the service? Impeccable. Our servers went above and beyond to accommodate my tricky diet (sometimes I feel like such a pain).
One standout dish? This deceptively simple
spinach and sesame salad. (I was too busy chatting and dancing to eat as much as I should’ve, regrets!)
The spinach is chilled and wilted but still has a bit of bite, and the dressing is everything, nutty, sweet, tangy, and totally addictive. So refreshing, I raced home to recreate it several times.
Trust me, you’ll want this side dish in your life. :)
