We’re bringing Dreamspace back, and we couldn’t be more excited to invite you in!
After a long hiatus, we’re reopening this virtual sanctuary for Black single mothers to gather, connect, and dream together. We know that single motherhood can feel isolating, exhausting, and overwhelming. Dreamspace exists to counter that. To create a space where you are held, supported, and reminded that you are not alone.
To begin, we’re launching a study group in May, where we’ll come together to read, reflect, and explore the ways capitalism, gender, and family structures shape our experiences as Black single mothers. Our first book will be Sisters of the Yam: Black Women and Self-Recovery by bell hooks—a tender and deeply affirming invitation to heal, love ourselves, and reclaim our wholeness in the face of a world that often asks us to fragment ourselves to survive.
Membership is free and open to all Black single mothers who are ready to nurture a different relationship with their motherhood…one rooted in connection, care, and possibility.
We’ve missed this space. We’ve missed you. Join us in May as we begin this next chapter of Dreamspace together.
More details, including the schedule and how to sign up, will be shared in the coming weeks.
