WALKING.
Yep—good ol’ putting one foot in front of the other. It deserves way more hype than it gets.
As someone who runs a business from home and spends a lot of time sitting, I’ve had to be super intentional about carving out time during the day to get my steps in (yes, in addition to my workouts!).
And honestly? Walking has helped me show up better—for myself and my business.
I walk to process creative ideas.
I walk to boost my energy.
I walk to give my mind a break.
I walk to stay grounded in chaos.
I walk to reduce post-meal bloating.
So if you’ve been sitting at your desk for hours at a time, this your nudge:
Take more walks this week, boo.
Even if it’s just around the block.
Even if it’s on a treadmill or walking pad.
Even if your to-do list is long.
Even if it’s only for 10 minutes.
No pressure. No tracking. Just move.
