Gotta Love a Good Before/After
The dining room was a team favorite. You can really see what fresh paint, soft textures and dynamic lighting can do to a room. For this space we brought in an original vintage apothecary shelf installed on the wall. It made the room!

Hi First name / Friends,

This month, we're bringing you a transformation story that’s as full of heart as it is hustle. What do you do when a single dad of four young kids needs to move in—yesterday? You get creative, fast. In just six weeks, we turned a dated house into a colorful, character-filled family home. Every room was designed to reflect the kids’ unique personalities—from two queen beds in the girls' room (hello, sleepovers!) to a custom study space that makes homework feel just a little more fun.

We pulled out every design trick in the book: micro-cement showers to avoid demo delays, lime-washed walls and cabinets in warm shades of sage, cream, and green to add instant depth. Mid-century furnishings the client already owned, reimagined and layered into the new space. This project is the perfect mix of soul and smarts—designed for real life, with heart at the center. Having worked with this wonderful and kind family before, we were all in, alongside our favorite contractor, to create something meaningful (and fast!).

We can’t wait for you to see the before + afters—it’s a reminder that great design doesn’t have to move like molasses. Sometimes, the best results come when the timeline is tight, the client is wonderful, and the vision is crystal clear.

Warmly,

We were lucky to have the client's existing collection of gorgeous Mid-Century Modern furniture to work with. You can see how this transition really brought light to this living room along with a neutral rug, new lighting fixture and art. Together this created a cozy space to play games and catch movie night with the family.
