This weekend, I'm mixing it up a bit and attending a bachelorette party . . . in my own backyard! My best-friend bride wanted a Atlanta-based bash, and I personally am SO excited to play tourist in my own hometown. If you see me sporting sequins and “woo-girling” at Johnny's tonight - no you didn't.
As we dive into the busy seasons of soirees and vacationing, this weekend serves as a perfect reminder of how special it can be to discover the gems right around us.
Whether it's visiting a local museum, popping into a cozy coffee shop you've never tried with a book, or stumbling upon a charming locally-owned boutique, remember, you don't need to jet-set to travel. Take a moment to enjoy the places new and old you may have overlooked or taken for granted - sometimes the best adventures are the ones closest to home!
