Hello! How are you holding up out there!? Our bookstore family allowed ourselves a bit of wintering through the first quarter: Karmina had her baby(!!), we lost a beloved, and we grew our team to make room for work AND the fullness of being alive, including grief, illness, burnout, joy, and creativity. I hope you have found respite and adequate rest amidst these tricky times.

Here we are in April and the jasmine is exploding on the stoop and I'm starting to feel those embers of imagination and hunger catch a gust––you too? As ever, the bookstore remains a safe place to set down the load and reflect on what it means to be human in seemingly alien times. We have a book for the deep dive or a protracted escape. Scroll for some fun events and opportunities for connection in the next few weeks––maybe you'll find something that speaks to you.
