Hello and welcome to Month Six of the Flower Shop BOM!

 

Can you believe this is the final month? I honestly can’t — this BOM has flown by so quickly! I’m feeling a little sad it’s coming to an end, but I’m also so excited to see all of your finished quilts come together. It has been such a joy to create alongside you, and I’ve loved every step of this journey with you!

 

This month, you’ll be finishing Blocks 11 and 12 and diving into the quilt assembly. It’s a big month with lots to look forward to, including our Final Celebration!

The Livestream originally scheduled for today will be pushed to next week. I’ll send out the new date and time at the beginning of the week.

 

As some of you know, I was sick a few weeks ago, and unfortunately, it really set me back. And if that wasn’t enough, this past week I’ve been battling a migraine and congestion, which means I haven’t made the progress I hoped on my Month 6 blocks, finishing, or tutorials.

 

I’m so sorry — this is not how I imagined wrapping up the BOM or kicking off the final month. But I’m giving myself some grace and using the next few days to catch up and get everything ready for you.

Now, let’s get into all the Month 6 details and everything you need to know about the Final Celebration — keep reading!

The BOM Final Celebration is going to be SO much fun — I have so many prizes to give away in honor of all your hard work! 🎉 Keep reading for all the details on how you can join the celebration and win some exciting goodies!

 

The Final Celebration will take place on May 2, 2025 — please note this is a date change! The original date was May 9th, but I’ll be attending H&H in Chicago from May 6–10, so the celebration has been moved up to May 2nd.

 

I’m also considering a final livestream to wrap everything up together — more details coming soon!

 

On May 2, 2025, I’ll be releasing a special Celebration Video on my YouTube channel to honor all of you and showcase your beautiful work! To be included, please send me 1–2 horizontal (landscape) photos of your finished quilt top, your progress so far, or any remix/bonus projects you’ve made using Flower Shop BOM patterns.

 

Photos don’t have to be staged or fancy — just share your creativity and heart! 💕

The Celebration Prize Categories are live — and there’s something for everyone! There are 15 fun categories, from “Completed Quilt Top” to “I Tried But Couldn’t Finish.” Enter as many categories as you’d like!

This month, you’ll be making Blocks 11 and 12 and moving on to the finishing steps for your quilt top. It’s a big milestone, and I couldn’t be more excited to see all your beautiful quilts come together! Whether you’ve been sewing along each month or just now catching up, this is where it all starts to bloom into something truly special.

 

And remember, there’s no rush. You can work at your own pace and still participate in the celebration — I just want you to have fun and enjoy this final stretch.

I’m working on getting the tutorials filmed and ready for you all! They should be up by midweek. I’ll have tutorials for Blocks 11 and 12, as well as a finishing tutorial to guide you through the final steps.

 

The finishing tutorial may be broken up into a few parts to make it easier to follow — so stay tuned! 🎥🧵💗

I couldn’t be more excited for our final Zoom Meetup together! The first one was such a blast and a wonderful way to connect with each other. I can’t wait for us to share our progress, show off our finished quilts, and enjoy some fun, quilty conversation!
