Welcome back to Beyond the Tour. 
 
We're back after Spring Break with family and friends and happy to return to what we love: Sending you practical tips and resources to help you get better at what you do. No fluff. All business.

If You Do One Thing This Week:
1. 🗓️ Get on track.  
Now is the time to schedule a summer retreat with the marketing, development, and admission teams.
 
Here's how to get started: 
  • Schedule 1 day in May, June and July;
  • Set an agenda that is very concrete and allows you to look back on this past year;
  • Evaluate what went well and what didn't;
  • What are your goals for next year?
  • What needs to be true to make them happen?
It's that simple. Just get started. 
Next season, you will be grateful that you took time to evaluate what you do and how you do it. 
 
2 Tips to DO MORE:

2. ❣️ Can't stop. Won't stop.  
Keep finding ways to communicate what is special about your school and what problem it solves for your customer.  Find language that hits the right note and keep using it in every communication, every post, every presentation. 
 
It takes a message 7x before it hits. You haven't contacted your families too many times. You haven't communicated your value proposition too many times. 
 
Until they tell you to stop, keep hustling. Not every school is like yours. Stand out! Fill your classes with families who want what you offer. 

3. Data manages hysteria. 
Track where your enrollments are now as compared to last year at this time.
 
If you know your pace of enrollment, you will be able to breathe easy or adjust intensity accordingly. You will also be able to be confident when reporting to your Head of School and Board. They want to know realistic predictions. Root your predictions in data.  Be in touch with me if you need help getting started with tracking.
