Humana – Customer Success Agent. Remote (U.S. based). Full-time. Engage with high-risk Medicare members via inbound and outbound calls to provide education, resolve issues, and improve retention. Responsibilities include guiding members through plan benefits, assisting with coverage questions, and collaborating across departments. Requires active health insurance license, 2+ years of Medicare experience, and strong technical navigation skills. Schedule includes availability between 7 AM–11 PM local time and mandatory 6-week training. Pay range: $48,900–$66,200/year. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and tuition assistance.

 

SmartAsset – Client Experience Specialist. Remote (Contiguous U.S. only). Full-time. Assist consumers by phone, email, SMS, and chat, helping them connect with financial advisors through SmartAsset’s matching platform. Responsibilities include scheduling calls, building advisor relationships, and documenting interactions in the CRM. Requires 1+ years of call center or phone sales experience, strong communication skills, and comfort in a fast-paced environment. Fixed schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM EDT. Salary: $45,000 base + $15,000 variable commission + equity. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, home office stipend, and more.

 

StraighterLine – Student Support Specialist. Remote (U.S.). Full-time. Provide student-centered support for StraighterLine’s online learners via phone, chat, email, and tickets. Responsibilities include resolving academic, technical, billing, and course-related issues to ensure a positive experience and help students earn transferable credit. Requires 4–5 years of customer service experience; a bachelor’s degree and online education experience are preferred. Must be highly organized, empathetic, and skilled at multitasking in a performance-driven environment. Salary not listed. Benefits include generous PTO, 13 holidays, 401(k) with 3% employer contribution, medical/dental/vision (one plan fully funded), six weeks paid parental leave, and free courses for employees and family.

 

YouGov - Survey Respondents. This is a survey panel that has been around for quite a number of years. They are always needing new panelists to provide their opinions on interesting topics (mostly current events). They do pay and offer a lot of different options for payment including PayPal, bank transfer, Amazon cards, and more. They are open to the US and UK, and you need at least $15 worth of redeemable points in your account to be able to withdraw your earnings.

 

Unit21 – Customer Support Specialist. Remote (select U.S. states). Full-time. Support customers by troubleshooting technical issues, reviewing detection models, escalating bugs, and improving the client experience through ticket-based communication. Requires 2+ years in a customer-facing or technical support role, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and the ability to explain complex issues clearly. Experience with Zendesk or fintech is a plus. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Pay range is $60,000–$70,000/year. Benefits include stock options, 100% employer-paid medical/dental/vision, 401(k), unlimited PTO, stipends, and more.

 

Draft - Freelance Writers. Once you sign up, you’ll have access to the Draft platform where you’ll be able to browse available writing jobs. Simply claim the job that interests you, and start writing. They do want to see a portfolio and samples. Pay is based on the number of words. Standard payout rates start at USD $0.05 per word. Some high-priority jobs pay up to USD $0.10 per word. Payments are made weekly via direct deposit (you invoice them through their platform for any work completed by you that week).

 

Fansided - Freelance Writers. US and possibly other countries. Fansided is almost always looking for writers to work remotely with knowledge in sports, entertainment, lifestyle topics, and more. The focus appears to be on sports.

 

User Interviews - Focus Group Participants. Get paid to participate in focus groups. This reputable company conducts research studies paying $50-$75 or more for your time. They are always looking for new respondents, and have lots of studies going on at any given time. I am always getting invitations in my email to participate.

 

Babbletype - English Language Transcribers. United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand. They cannot hire people who live in California. You would be working primarily on market research projects. Pay rate not listed.

 

Ditto Transcripts – Freelance Transcriptionist. Remote (U.S. only; excluding residents of California, New Jersey, and Massachusetts). Full-time or part-time. Transcribe audio and video files across various fields, including law enforcement, medical, legal, financial, and general transcription. Requires excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; prior transcription experience preferred. Compensation ranges from $0.80 to $1.10 per audio minute for legal and law enforcement transcription, and $0.07 to $0.10 per line for medical transcription.
