As many of you know, my family and I recently moved to Portugal. It’s been a big and beautiful transition—and like most big life changes, it’s reminded me how essential creativity and community are in uncertain seasons.

 

That’s why I’m so excited to share something BRAND NEW inside Studioworks Academy, and I’d love for you to be part of it!

 

It’s called The Sketchbook Society—a monthly group experience where we work through one class together, using our sketchbooks as a space to reflect, explore, and stay connected to our creative practice.

May’s Class:

May’s Class: Let’s Start Sketching, led by the wonderful Yvonne Morell, this class is perfect for all levels. It’s relaxed, accessible, and rooted in observation—helping you gently return to (or begin) your sketchbook habit.

 

Even if you’ve taken this class before, I encourage you to revisit it. Moving through it in community, with new prompts and shared encouragement, can bring a whole new depth to your experience.

 

If you’ve been looking for structure, inspiration, or simply a reason to open your sketchbook again—this is your invitation.

 

We begin May 1st. I’ll be sketching right alongside you, and I hope you’ll be there too.
