A Day in the LiFE
Yesterday at my nail appointment I asked my nail tech… did she wake up and think about what there was to look forward to every day? I was surprised her answer was “no” but she laughed, saying “that is very YOU though." Am I the only one who does this? Of course, I am grateful to be alive. Grateful for my health, and my family's health. Each day I write out a gratitude so I don't loose sight of that. But I also LOVE something to look forward to. It could be lunch with friends. Or a new show I'm enjoying. Or sometimes a bigger thing, like a trip. And other times, it's the story I'm writing, like my current WIP that I have to tear myself away from the computer from because it's flowing so well (Bachelor Pact #3). I always find something and even started a note in my iPhone titled “Good Things Are Always Happening to Me," and I look for things to add like, “My friend called just to say hello.” Maybe I'm weird but… aren't we all a little bit? Anyway… those are my deep thoughts for the day. ;)

I will share the freebie in next week's newsletter so you don't forget. To make it even more fun, I'm giving away a paperback of your choice in the series. To enter, simply complete this form with your favorite scene from the first book, To Honor (can't be in the look inside on Amazon). As always, the series is in Kindle Unlimited as well.

GUYS. Book 3 of The Bachelor Pact is still flowing like wine at a vineyard wedding (Grado Valley Vineyards nod intended), and I'm already dreading the end because I don’t want to say goodbye to these two. (Did you finish book one?) Also, I may or may not have just written the scene. You know the one. The first kiss you’ve been waiting for since chapter three. 🥵 I legit had to get up and walk around the room. So here's my question this week:

What’s your favorite kiss trope?
✔️ The “finally” kiss after so much tension
✔️ The “oops, we shouldn’t have done that” kiss
✔️ The “fake relationship turns real” kiss
✔️ Something else?

Come join us in Mecca Romance Readers as we answer this question today. Also, if you love FREE steamy small town books, I've got something for you here.

I cannot wait for you to meet Issa and Rowan! Their story, Tide of Waves and Secrets, is coming May 11th, and it might just be my most slow burn, forbidden, tension-filled romance yet. I didn’t expect these two to have such intense chemistry… Issa’s all duty and secrets, and Rowan’s this guarded royal with way too much baggage. But once they ended up trapped in close quarters (because of course they did), sparks flew. Think longing looks, hidden magic, and one boat ride that changes everything. If you love coastal vibes and emotional tension, this one’s for you.You can pop this on your Goodreads TBR and preorder here

Each week, I’ll reveal a part of a powerful quote about strength, resilience, and courage, the same qualities my heroines embody. At the end of the month, when you’ve collected all four pieces, email me the full phrase for a chance to win a signed paperback featuring a strong/resilient heroine.

Week three: “…the rest is merely tenacity."
