my brain has been very full this week. i decided a couple weeks ago that i wanted to take a full month of administrative leave so i could work through the systems and processes that my business has been starving to acquire. it's day 5 and i have been very pleased with everything i have accomplished, but it's also meant that i've had quite a few intense days as of late.

of course, i realized that i truly am living a little dream of a life and i have iowa and my sweet Tyler to thank for it. we've spent a lot of time in nature the last few months as the world has warmed up to spring and i couldn't be happier for it.

 

we took our routine monthly trip down to the temple in nauvoo, illinois and this time i made him stop so we could admire the sweetest little stream on the way back. the midwest sure is beautiful this time of year and i didn't have a clue how enchanted i would be by its charm.

nature never fails to remind me of my place. it's a beautiful place, but it's a puzzle piece place nonetheless and i am choosing to be better about celebrating this world we inhabit. tyler and i have been watching Blue Planet II by BBC and it reinvigorated within me a desire to just DO better with the resources i have. i believe i am responsible to future generations for what i choose to wisely steward.

 

choosing to be intentional is so rewarding. i hope to explore this more and continue expressing my ideas surrounding the care of our planet earth.
