Are you interested in going with Grace on her church history trip she told you about? Come and watch the words you’ve read all year come alive—in the places they happened!
Speaking of…Good news! Israel is open again! And a holy envy trip is being planned for India and Dubai! Want to know about all of David’s upcoming tours?
Take time to draw pictures of the signs you study this week, and then draw the things that make you excited for Jesus to come again.
TIP-INS for teens
Rather than focusing on just the signs and the calamities, spend some time this week studying how to abide the day. What do you learn?
TIP-INS for individuals and couples
As you study this week, remember that He promised great things await us. Read President Nelson’s most recent conference address. He also uses the word great. Instead of focusing only on the “dreadful” what are the great things about the Savior’s return?
We are so excited about the new tip-ins for this year. Here is what we envisioned when we were creating these… an experience where you can gather with any age group (adults, teens, kids) to have a meaningful discussion once a week. All of the tip-ins for every age group work together to create a lesson experience for every age. Instead of having a separate journal, our hope is that your scriptures will become your journal this year! You can write your notes in the wide margin scriptures, and place this tip-in inside the pages. Created so the whole family could study together, and so that you would end the year with a book of scripture filled with the lessons we all study together.
We will walk you through how to use the tip-ins each week during our lesson. Then you can find a time that works best for your family to study together and do your scripture journaling.
These tip-ins are a combination of facts and context to help you understand each section better, along with questions in worksheet form to allow you to find application from each section in your own life. It’s the best of both worlds written in a format to fit right inside your scriptures so you will never forget the learning from this Doctrine and Covenants year.
