Nutrition in Focus: Reflections from Paris Summit Nutrition took centre stage in Paris, where governments, donors, and civil society aligned on country-led investment pathways for healthier diets. The summit highlighted the urgency of integrating nutrition into climate and food systems agendas, alongside calls for inclusive, sustained financing. A powerful signal of that commitment: the Nutrition for Growth Summit has now mobilised over US$27 billion to help meet global nutrition-related Sustainable Development Goals. |

Asia-Netherlands Water-Food Learning Week: Strengthening Water and Food Partnerships From April 7–11, the Netherlands hosted delegates from the Asian Development Bank and seven Asia-Pacific countries for the Asia-Netherlands Water-Food Learning Week. Field visits and interactive sessions explored integrated water management, salinity, regenerative agriculture, and financing water for food — fostering new partnerships for future collaboration. |

True Price & CGIAR Science Week At CGIAR’s global Science Week, the Global Partnership for the True Price of Food led a session on the True Price methodology, showcasing real-world applications and generating momentum for more transparent decision-making. ILRI presented how true pricing in coffee and livestock is shaping national policy, while GAIN demonstrated how monetising health costs can reshape food basket choices. CGIAR’s commitment to integrate True Cost Accounting into its Multifunctional Landscapes Programme signals a meaningful step toward more equitable, data-driven food systems. |

Financing the Future of Food: Kenya Learning Event Highlights In Nairobi, more than 50 stakeholders gathered for Kenya’s first Financing the Future of Food event, co-organized by NFP and partners. Key outcomes include piloting new finance models and establishing a national Technical Working Group to strengthen inclusive investments in food systems. |

Saline Water & Food Systems Partnership: Mozambique Project Results As part of the Saline Water & Food Systems Partnership Seed Money Facility, one of three pilot projects in 2024 focused on Mozambique’s salinity challenges. The Mozambican Saline Agriculture Research and Practice (MoSARP) project brought together local and international partners including ASSAMBA, IIAM, UEM, VU Amsterdam, and the Salt Doctors. By combining expertise in salinity and agroforestry, the team developed a context-specific roadmap for advancing saline agriculture at both field and institutional levels. |

Brussels Visit – Strengthening European Partnerships Last week, a small delegation from the Netherlands Food Partnership visited Brussels to connect with key European partners advancing sustainable and inclusive food systems. The team engaged in conversations with colleagues from EU DG-INTPA, ENABEL, and IPES-FOOD, reinforcing partnerships across public, private, research, and civil society sectors.
