Happy New Moon First name / sweet human,

May was a month of firsts for me - first market, first little dip into a local shop, first time having a mess of strangers give real time feedback on my work. It was so much fun seeing what people liked and who stepped into my booth, and it felt really wonderful to get to be a part of the local small business and creative community so directly. I can't wait to do more. Thank you to everyone who stopped in, said kind things and took some of Wild Valentine into your homes. I'm humbled and delighted by your support.
                                                    ❤︎
I was super curious to learn what folks would like and was surprised to find prints at the top of the list! Coming in at a close second were: tea towels, bandanas, stickers and enamel pins. I've slowly been updating my shop with all these new treasures and hope to have everything up by mid June.

One of your faves is also Huck's fave:

Other May “firsts” and things:
  • First day of the year that was the perfect temp to enjoy lunch on the back deck - one of my favorite simple pleasures.
  • First time trying a potato pancake at Redwood - if you are in the area and like potatoes, please go and order yourself some of these asap.
  • First time reading this poem by Mary Oliver.
  • All the irises and peonies and roses are blooming - it's a symphony of divine smells out there. Also, I planted what may be my favorite rose of all: Twilight Zone
  • I've been listening to Tara Brach's podcast series Introduction to Mindfulness and slowly re-reading Radical Acceptance. Highly recommend.
  • I've been getting into sculpting! Right now it's little animal heads and tiny strawberries. These are not good at all! But I'm having so much fun.

Tell me, what are some new (or not so new) things/happenings in your world that are bringing you some tiny joy and magic?

Until the next new moon,

Natalie
