June is starting—school is out, and like many of you, we’re entering a beautifully busy season. My girls have their ballet recital coming up, and my youngest is about to turn three. It’s a month of milestones, movement, and a whole lot of juggling.

But even in all the motion, I’m reminded how easy it is to feel disconnected—especially when our days are full. Loneliness doesn’t always look like isolation. It can hide behind full calendars and good intentions. And the impact isn’t just emotional—it shows up in our hormones, sleep, and metabolism.
