Allow me to introduce you to Chencho, a little brown chihuahua with a big name and an even bigger heart. This tiny guy was left behind when his family moved away, and he’s been cuddled up here ever since—quite literally! He’s convinced my lap belongs to him. (Shh! Don't tell him he still up for adoption!)

I like to joke that Chencho is my Spanish-speaking dog (he came from a home where English wasn’t spoken much), and while he hasn’t told me so himself, I know he understands love in any language. Chencho is one of the most affectionate dogs I’ve ever fostered. He’s battling heartworms right now, but we’re treating him and believing for the perfect forever home.
