SAY THIS WITH ME…
I choose consistency over extremes.
My health is not seasonal — it’s sacred.
I don’t have to hustle for a summer body.
Hey boo,

I have a confession…

I'm a fitness coach who is not a fan of the term ‘summer body’.

Because the moment the weather warms up, I feel like social media turns into a never-ending scroll of before-and-afters, detox teas, and “how to get bikini ready” in 10 days. The pressure to slim down. The urgency to “fix” something. The countdowns. The ‘get snatched quick’ challenges. All of it.

It’s loud, it’s relentless, and if you’re not grounded in yourself, it can really start to mess with the way you see your body and your worth.

So let me hold your hand while I say this:

Your body doesn’t need a deadline, boo.

You don’t need six-pack abs to go to the beach. You don’t need to shrink yourself to deserve the outfit you’ve been eyeing. You don’t need to exhaust yourself with two-a-day workouts or deprive your body with a crash diet

…just to feel “allowed” to show up this summer.

You are allowed to take up space as you are — today. In your softness. In your strength. In your stretch marks and curves and lines that tell a story.

Now don’t get me wrong…

As a fitness coach, I want you to feel confident and look like a whole baddie this summer. I want you to feel good in your skin when you show up at the cookout, the beach, the girls’ trip, or wherever the season takes you.

And if the warmer weather has you feeling inspired to move more, set new goals, or freshen up your wellness routine — I’m here for that, too. Lets go!

But before you dive into anything new, I want you to pause and ask yourself ONE important question:

Can I sustain this when summer ends?
September? October? November? December?

Because if the answer is ‘no’, chances are it’s not rooted in love or care. It’s rooted in urgency. In pressure. In shame. It’s coming from the belief that you need to become someone else to finally deserve joy, fun, or peace.

And that’s a lie I refuse to let you believe.

You are not behind. You are not too late. You are a whole human — evolving, growing, moving through seasons, and deserving of care through every single one. You don’t need to shrink to be worthy. You don’t need to hustle your way into being lovable.

You’re allowed to care for yourself without turning it into punishment.

One of the most powerful shifts I’ve made in my own wellness journey was letting go of the idea that fitness had to be tied to a specific moment — a vacation, an event, a number on the scale. Instead, I started asking myself this question that changed everything for me:

How do I want to feel in my body every season of my life?

Because we don’t need more intensity. We need more sustainability. We need routines that move with us — through busy seasons, through stress, through celebrations and setbacks. Routines that can bend and flex with life, without falling apart the moment things get hard.

That’s why I don’t chase summer bodies. I build everyday strength. I move to feel energized, not exhausted. I train for my future self — the version of me who wants to run around with her kids, travel freely, dance without pain, and show up for life with ease and confidence.

So this summer, I invite you to do the same.

Take care of your body because it’s yours — not because it’s June. Not because someone on the internet told you to. Not because you feel like you’re behind.

Move in a way that feels good. Eat to feel nourished. Rest when you need to. And celebrate the moments you show up — even if it’s not perfect.  Especially when it’s not perfect.

Because when you zoom out, you’ll see: it was never about summer at all. It’s about building a lifestyle that lasts. One that treats your health like the lifelong gift it truly is.

Let the world chase the 30-day glow-up – while we build baddie bodies that'll carry us through every chapter.

Let's get it.
Ari
