Summer Reading Registration is open!

Complete this form to register for the 2025 Casa Grande Public Library's Summer Reading Program, Color Our World. Registration goes through June 30th. Download the Beanstack App to track your child's minutes for Summer Reading , and join in the fun with a reading challenge just for adults. Pickup your registration goodies starting May 19th at the Vista Grande Library 1556 N. Arizola Rd.  *Pickup at Main Library 449 N. Drylake Street starting May 27th* 

Summer Reading Kick Off will be June 2nd at the Palm Island Family Aquatic Park.

The Casa Grande Public Library, Main Branch, will be CLOSED Saturday, May 17th through Saturday, May 24th for a major carpet replacement. The Vista Grande Library will continue to be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 9a.m.-5 p.m. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Come to the Vista Grande library for monthly gardening tips on Saturday, May 17th from 10:30-11:30 a.m. This month's topic: Cover Crops. The presentations are given by University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners. Check out our seed library at both locations as well!

Despicable May continues with rockets and love! Join us on May 17th from @ 2:00 p.m. for our Family Movie and Coloring Activity held at the Main Library, 449 N. Drylake St. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult. Light snacks and drinks with screw top lids are allowed.

Do you like to knit or crochet? Maybe want to learn or teach others? Join the Crochet and Knitting Club on Fridays at the Vista Grande Library, from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Bring your own supplies. Some yarn will be available while supplies last. Ages 12+ and member led.

Come to the Vista Grande Library on Tuesdays from 2:30-4:00 p.m. and enjoy Cookies, Coffee, and Coloring! Bring your own coffee! (not required) 

Cookies, coloring pages, markers, and colored pencils will be provided.

Reading Challenges!

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Reading Challenge! Parents and kids, are you up for it? Here's how to sign up! 

1. Parents need to download the app, Beanstack Tracker 

2. Click on Find your school or library, then search for City of Casa Grande Public Library 

3. Click on Sign Up to create an account. 

4. Then select which library you typically use: Main or Vista Grande Library 

5. Finally, add readers (the children).

 When you complete your challenge, come to the library and get a Certificate of Completion and your picture taken!

Did you know both library locations have study rooms that you can reserve? Study Rooms can be reserved for up to two hours per day. You can reserve online, by phone, or in person.

Volunteers needed! The Central Lutheran Church Adult Community Education (ACE) Team offers general education tutoring and English as a second language (ESL) coaching. Volunteers work one-on-one or with small groups once or twice a week to help participants achieve personal development goals. If you would like to serve on the ACE Team, complete the VOLUNTEER INTEREST FORM available here:
