Hello from Chicago!
I am in the Windy City celebrating two of my favorite Mothers - my Mom and Sister in Law - for an early Mother's Day celebration! The true highlight though, of course, is spending time with my sweet nephew and godson Vinny. To him I am known as Fairy Godmother Lauren ("FGL" for short), so I will be making sure to spoil him with playtime, applesauce, and a trip to the Zoo while in town!
Another Mother's Day Weekend bonus is in store, as I get to celebrate one of my dearest friends who is a mom-to-be on Saturday at her shower! She's expecting a baby girl the day after my birthday, so I am actively cheering for a slightly early arrival :)
