…and to one of my absolute favorite times of year. May kicks off the season here in Newport, and I couldn’t be happier. From now until Thanksgiving, it’s my favorite stretch of weather—and there’s truly nowhere else I’d rather be.

 

On this beautiful Mother’s Day, I’m thinking of my beloved mom, who passed away three years ago. This day can be filled with joy, but I also know it can stir up sadness—for those missing their moms, navigating motherhood challenges, or carrying the ache of a different path than they imagined. If that’s you, please know you're in my thoughts. And I hope you find happiness in something today. 💗

 

I’m sharing one of my favorite photos of Mary, taken exactly 10 years ago—just a month before her 90th birthday (she’d be turning 100 on June 1st!). And of course, I had to include a favorite throwback of the three boys who made me a mom 26 years ago. They’ve brought me more joy—and, yes, more gray hair—than I could have ever dreamed of. I’m not with them today, but I'm enjoying all the fun calls, texts and video messages;)   We’ll all be together next weekend to celebrate that little one (with the ‘what the heck?’ look on his face) - at his college graduation. 🎓

 

And P.S.—these classic moments pop up randomly on our digital frame all day long. It’s so easy to add new photos, and actually, way more satisfying than framing. Highly recommend!

 

I’ve missed the past couple of Tipsy Tuesdays thanks to some travel—and because I’ve been heads-down working on the new and improved SUMMER Style System, which launches later this month!

 

Truthfully, I’ve been a little disillusioned with social media lately. It started when Zuck made a comment about AI “replacing friendships” (yikes)… and then, out of nowhere, Facebook dropped an AI bot into my free private VIP #justgetdressed Facebook group.

 

This bot was uninvited, cringe-inducing, and not exactly easy to get rid of. So, I went on a bit of a social media strike. 🙈

 

But here’s what I do still love: the positive, helpful, and truly transformational conversations happening inside my private Facebook group for Style System members. That group has become such a valuable space, and I’m planning to expand the benefits even more this fall—so stay tuned!

 

In the meantime, watch for the launch of the Summer Style System later this week! There’ll be new tiered options to fit your needs—plus a special invitation for past VIP members.

And now, here’s a new (somewhat random but seriously helpful) tip I shared on IG this week:

 

☕🍷 Coffee, Wine & Your Smile (After 50)

If you love your morning coffee and the occasional glass of red wine like I do, here’s a quick beauty PSA: they’re quietly staining your teeth—and that dull, yellow tone can age us more than we realize.

 

The good news? Whitening doesn’t have to mean expensive treatments.

I use Crest Whitestrips a few times a year, and for sensitive teeth, Lumineux peroxide-free strips are a great alternative.

 

I also swear by this toothpaste, my dental hygienist noticed a big difference in my teeth and gums since I started using this brush. 

 

💡 Bonus tips:

 

*Rinse with water after drinking…better yet--brush afterwards if you can! 

*They say a splash of milk can coffee stains vs. black coffee

*Use a straw for iced coffee or sangria
