OPTIMIZING
WOWzerzzz 🤪🤪🤪 has it been quite a "shake the shit up" type of year. One of those start-to-the-year where you didn't see it coming...until it quite LITERALLY took a poo on ya (but in all honesty bird poo = good luck 🍀🍀🍀… so bring it on bahaha 😆😆😆)
In truth, I've been learning these past few months that a clearing of sorts needs to happen in order for you to be able to fully flourish. It's like tending to your garden before the spring season by tilling the land and getting the soil (foundation) prepared to nourish and flourish during the growing season. Y'all I have been diving deeper with OBSERVING nature because TRULY Mother Earth is an AMAZING teacher. Anywho...back to the point but I think for myself this is a step I have forgotten about that Life quite literally hit the refresh button on...that inspired me to BE more intuitive with the way I am nourishing my mind, body, soul, and spirit.
And to start the OPTIMIZING of a routine of sorts. I was inspired by first tracking my sleep with the Oura ring. Not going to dive too deep into a review yet because #needmoretime with this cutie. If ya know me, then you know that I'd stay up til about 3-4am and for a while this was okay kind of 🫣 🫣🫣. But something clicked where I felt drawn to do something different to show up for myself in a more nourishing way 😌😌😌.
...Tbh...this relationship with nourishing oneself ebbs and flows ALL the time. And it's TOTALLY okay ya know. So don't be so hard on yourself if you find that you stop doing a certain routine or whatever. It simply means that...that routine has served its purpose for ya…
And now back to the sleep stuff lol...
In addition to sleep, I was drawn to start incorporating some movement such as yoga. To help ease fully move my body and to work with my breath. I can for sure say the Oura ring inspired this, but it was also this deep intuitive, inner knowing, or pull that was signaling for me to dial in on curating a routine that nourishes oneself as I keep navigating this new chapter in my life...
