Little Theatre Auditorium presents Porchfest 2025 on Saturday, June 7th. Porchfest is an all ages, free and open to the public community event celebrating Bill Gossman Day! Join us for a wonderful day of performances and community, and enjoy local musicians playing at outdoor stages in and all around downtown New London from 11am-3pm. There will be a dedication and speech from Mayor John Dahl at 3pm at the Gossman Stage with opening act ‘Time Release Collective’ to follow. We are excited to announce the Galactic Cowboy Orchestra as headliner for Porchfest! GCO blends elements of folk, progressive rock, jazz fusion, and classic Americana genres into one incredible musical experience. Based out of the Twin Cities, this exciting ensemble boasts seven album releases, an extensive touring resume, and collaborations with other groups ranging from music festivals to concert halls and all stops in between. GCO will delight you with beautifully crisp melodies, commanding technical artistry, fanciful interplay, and a driving energy most fitting of an early summer day in Minnesota! GCO takes the Gossman Stage from 4-6pm. If you are interested in supporting this event you can do so by making a donation at the event or visit: littletheatreauditorium.org/donate

After three Saturday shows to packed audiences, the curtain closed on the incredibly successful second series of Little Stories by the Crow River Players. The cast took a collection of unforgetable memories from their peers and added some serious creative flair to hilarious, heartfelt and emotional stories. There were many new faces who took the stage and now the word is out. Everyone is already looking to the next performance. If you are interested in catching a rehearsal, contributing an idea, or wanting to act with the Crow River Players, stop by LTA on Wednesday nights at 6:30 and join the fun!

Story Show coming to LTA May 25th| 1&4 pm

The Story Show is produced and directed by Heather Westberg King and will take place at New London's Little Theatre Auditorium. This Story Show's proceeds will be donated to Wild Haven, a sportsman's youth club created in memory of William and Harrison Dahl.
Lara Dahl, Will and Harry's mom, has submitted a piece of writing that Heather will be reading on her behalf. Please join us in honoring the memory of two boys that impacted so many in our community with their infectious joy and love for the outdoors.
So many story-tellers will hit the stage that we had to plan for a 1pm AND A 4pm show. These brave souls will get behind that podium, face the microphone and their nerves, and read their true stories of grief to the crowd. If you’re familiar with The Moth live storytelling events, you have the right idea. A story show is a ride through our common human experiences, a chance to connect and come together. The show's stories will be moving and inspiring. When a story is read aloud in front of an audience, with the writer’s own voice, something magical happens. Beauty will flow, touching each mind and heart in the audience.
In the end, a Story Show is difficult to explain. One needs to experience it to fully understand. The shows are consistently sold out for good reason! It's the power of story! So please join the growing crowd of faithful Story Show-ers. We’re fun, and maybe even truly inspiring.

Thank you PW Jazz Collective for a great show and a fantastic crowd!
