Hey First name / lovely

I hope May is being kind to you so far!

I’ve got a juicy edition of The Founder’s Edit for you today—with reflections, things I’m loving, and a few gentle reminders for your week ahead.

AND for the first time ever… I’ve recorded a little audio / voice note version too!

As a self-confessed voice note lover and podcast fan, this felt like such a natural way to connect, share content, and keep things human in a world of AI! So if you’d prefer to listen to this edition while walking, working, or making a coffee—click here to tune in.

Let’s do this...

Working hard. Hardly working.

I’ve just downloaded a new audiobook—Working Hard, Hardly Working by Grace Beverley—and one of the first things that hit me was this:

✨ Don’t do admin first thing—it drains your creativity.

Ermmmmm, YES!

I also loved her take on the Eisenhower Matrix and her “Ticks / Tasks / Projects” method for to-do lists (which you can then use for time-blocking).

So yesterday, I tried it. I ignored the admin, opened up my latest website project, and channelled all my early-morning creative energy into that instead—and I’ve got to say, I was super productive.

If you’re someone who usually dives headfirst into emails and life admin, maybe this is your permission slip to protect that incredible creative energy.

Is your business as ‘you’ as it could be?

Or have you covered up a few bits here and there?

I used to think that showing certain parts of myself might make me look less professional—or less like I had my sh*t together.

But actually? The more I’ve embraced even those shadow-y bits, the more my business has felt like me.

It’s felt easier. More natural. More real. And more effortless.

Does any of this ring true for you?
Maybe have a little journal on what parts of you you’ve hidden in business—and what might change if you brought them to the surface.

Here are a few things I'VE BEEN REALLY LOVING lately…

📖 Salt Path
My beautiful bestie sent me this for my birthday and although I’d already started it on my Kindle, having the physical book has been so lovely! It’s an incredible story—for so many reasons—and I’m frantically trying to finish it before I go see the film.

Highly recommend this read!

📌 Pinterest
I’ve been gravitating towards Pinterest more and more lately—it feels like such a genuine source of inspiration right now.

Lately I’ve been ogling:
– Wabi-sabi style interiors
– Beautiful minimal website layouts (I’m deep in my “let’s make everything simple” era)
– Capsule wardrobe styling (because I’m in a full-on style crisis)
– And, as always... campervans. Obsessed.

Anyone else feeling the Pinterest love lately? Or any other creative platforms you’re vibing with? Hit reply—I’d love to know!

🎨 Interior Design Masters
I bloomin' love this show. Every time I watch it, I want to get the rollers out, try a bit of panelling or make something custom for my home. But even more than that—I love seeing people throw themselves into something creative and brave. It’s so inspiring.

🌀 Dreamium Course by Ceels Lockley
If you’ve been following along, you’ll know I had a bit of a coaching course nightmare last year, which left me hesitant to dive into anything else.
But then I found Ceels—and I’m currently working through her Dreamium course to review and refine my offers so they work for me. Think pricing, packaging, structure… the works.
It’s already helped me make some serious shifts in how I want to shape my business moving forward.

If it sounds like your vibe, check out https://ceelslockley.co/dreamium – enrolment opens tomorrow. Mention my name if you sign up!

This type of post always feels so wholesome and it gives your audience a lovely peek into your world. (We all like to be a bit nosey, don’t we!?)

So have a scroll through your camera roll, pick out your favourite moments from April, and turn them into a feel-good carousel. You don’t need to overthink it—just real life, shared!

Let me know what you’re loving, learning or leaning into right now—I always love hearing from you.

Here’s to creative energy, honest branding, and wabi-sabi wardrobes. 🌿
