You’ve got your storefront set up.
Sign’s up. Display looks good. Lights are on.
And you’re getting foot traffic.
People are walking by. Slowing down. Looking.
But they’re not coming in!
It’s not a sign of failure. In fact, it means you’re already winning part of the game: You’re showing up. You’re on the map. People know where you are. They see you.
Now it’s time to give them a reason to walk through the door.
How to Turn Impressions Into Clicks:
1. Rethink your title tags.
This is your headline sign. Make it clear, specific, and worth clicking.

→ “Natural Skincare Company” becomes “Natural Skincare That Works—Our Bestsellers, Loved by 10,000+ Women"
→ “Social Media Strategist" becomes “Done-for-You Instagram Strategy That Grows Without Reels Burnout"
2. Update your meta descriptions.
This is your window pitch. Tell them what they’ll get, in 160 characters or less.
3. Clean up your URL slugs.
A clean, trustworthy URL builds confidence. Keep it short, keyword-relevant, and easy to read.

But a quick warning:
If you’re updating existing URLs—you must set up redirects.
I had a client once tidy up all her slugs without realizing every internal link was still pointing to the old ones!
It broke her blog, confused Google, and tanked her traffic.
Redirects (301s) tell search engines and users where to go when something moves. Don’t skip this step.
4. Match the search intent.
Are you giving people what they expect based on their search?
If not—they’ll keep walking.
5. Use Google Search Console to find low-CTR pages.
Sort by impressions and look for pages under 1% CTR. Those are your missed opportunities.
Don't feel defeated yet!
When your content is being seen but not clicked, you’re not invisible—you’re almost there.
