I interrupt this weekly “day in the life” to tell you about a very exciting thing that happened recently, and you're invited too! Not only was I asked to attend an event called Book Club at Sea next April, but I'm also bring Mr. Mecca. AND we're hoping some of you can come to hang with us too! Here's a bit more information about the event, a 3-night cruise to the Bahamas with reader events built in. And even better, two of my author besties, Avery Maxwell and Lyndsey Gallagher, will be there too. I hope they have lots (and lots) of champagne on board at Celebrity Ascent. ;) This bad boy will sell out fast, so if you want to join us, here's the interest form. It's official. Today I wrote “the end” on Bachelor Pact #3 which means I'm diving in tomorrow (no rest for the weary) to a brand new story for Cecelia. I'm doing something a little different and fun for this one… stay tuned. One hint. Make sure you're caught up on Knight School Chronicles as soon as possible. And if you have any hot men inspiration pics for a hero, I'm officially accepting them in my inbox. 

The End. Those two little bittersweet words that make this author both happy and sad. I'm thrilled that Bachelor Pact #3 came to the most fufilling end of any book I've ever written… but I'm also going to miss Beck and Mae. My next project is a Cecelia one and then Heirs of Elydor #4 for C.L. pen name, so I won't be back to Cedar Falls for a few months. But you will this summer! This week I revealed the cover and release date for book #2, Desired Hearts, which is on pre-order now. Think marshmallow hero + log cabin + ski trip + snow storm + hot tub and you get the picture…

We're a little over a week from release, and I'm still not over the reaction to this series. 

The fact that I've gotten multiple messages from non-romantasy readers who have binged Whisper of War and Storms  and Tide of Waves and Secrets is seriously tickling me pink. It's pretty chilly still here in PA so I'm wishing right about now I could jump into the story with its ever-warm climate and oceans everywhere.
