Are you heading out on a Camino this year?

I am off again this weekend. It's one advantage of living out in Spain now.

 

My friend Rebecca from Sheffield is heading over today to Santander and then we are walking until Sunday on the Camino del Norte - the wrong way!

 

Yep, the way the buses and accommodation worked out, it made more sense to get a bus out to Unquera and then walk back to Santander.

 

I have done a Camino in the opposite direction once and it was a little tricky as the arrows confirm where you have come from rather than where you are heading. So I made sure we have the route planned out and downloaded into Komoot.

Here is my gear for this trip. Handy to know we have blankets in all three places, so no sleeping bag needed. Helps keep the weight down.
