Hi, First name / friend, Dropping a quick note this Friday afternoon to let you know that the ebook version of my newest release, Clear Path (Bodhi King Novel No. 9), is discounted to $2.99 through midnight EST on Sunday! If you haven't read it, now's a great time to grab it. |

In other news, the book just got this review that made my heart full and my voice squeaky 😍: " Clear Path is a gripping thriller that blends suspense with the raw beauty of the Great Allegheny Passage. Melissa Miller crafts a tense search for a missing woman that unravels dark secrets among a diverse group of volunteers. Bodhi King’s steady determination drives a story where trust is scarce, danger lurks in the shadows, and every step forward could be their last. Fans of character-driven mysteries will find this journey both thrilling and deeply human." —NewInBooks.com And Barnes & Noble included it in its 101 Ebooks Under $2.99 campaign, which runs through the weekend if you're looking to replenish your reading list! |

May 23rd is the 143rd day of the year, and here in Pennsylvania, it’s an official Day of Kindness in honor of Fred Rogers. I think most of you know I'm the original Mr. Rogers fan girl, and my family always celebrates 143 Day. 1-4-3 was Mr. Rogers' code for “I love you.” So on the 143rd day of the year, we share acts of kindness and good deeds. You can read more about it and check out some ideas for spreading kindness at this site. Especially now, we could all use some kindness and light. If you’re inspired to join in, I’d love to hear what you did! Pop into The Neighborhood this weekend and post in this thread if you'd care to share your act of kindness. It may seem trite or saccharine to spread kindness when the world is so troubled, but in the words of Fred Rogers, “Some days, doing ‘the best we can’ may still fall short of what we would like to be able to do, but life isn’t perfect on any front—and doing what we can with what we have is the most we should expect of ourselves or anyone else.” So I'll be doing what I can with what I have. 143, |
