Hey friend! How are you?

Summer is here and the flowers are popping off in California. They seem to get more glorious every year.

This newsletter I'm introducing a new feature - a “GEEZER RATING” system for each offering. Does it make any sense? Play along and see if you agree.

Anyways - here are 5 cool things for you to consider…

Readin' Nook
Good-golly I love a period piece.

Virginia in the moonshine era! Yes!
(Hang the Moon by Jeannette Walls)

Romantic drama in Pre-war Hong Kong! Yes!
(The Piano Teacher by Janice Y.K. Lee)

Both a great read. I think I just figured out I'm a historical fiction buff. Any recommendations?

GEEZER RATING: 6/9
(Aren't “buffs” generally Geezers?)

VICTORIA B.C. This summer my daughter and I are heading North to visit my mom {a true legit Geezer!!}.

Victoria is lovely. Adorable water taxis. High Tea in beautiful gardens. Coastal weather. Have you been? Anything we simpy must see or do?

GEEZER RATING: 8/9
(Victoria is basically Geezer Heaven)

See you in July dearest,
