Let's use those bananas sitting in your fruit bowl.
 
I love eating them for a snack, but I also like to mash them on toast or on a buttered soft and floury morning roll.
 
I slice them and add them to porridge, yoghurt and ice cream, but I also make desserts and bake with them, so today I'm sharing 10 gorgeous banana recipes with you.

Oh and I had to name this newsletter after one of my favourite childhood bands, Bananarama!
 
 
And now my tip!
 
Do fruit flies drive you mad in summer? Did you know most of them come from bananas?
 
The easy way to prevent them is to wash the dark tops and tails of the bananas under the tap when you get them, then leave them to dry on your draining board.
 
That will do the trick!
