In less than two weeks, my baby girl will be a high school graduate, and (not to be dramatic) but it's hitting hard. I know plenty of others have gone through it and survived to tell the tale. Maybe because my daughter has some special needs, or because I stayed home for college or… maybe it's just denial? For whatever reason, the idea that in a few months I'll be driving her to a college campus, albeit only forty-five minutes away, and LEAVING HER THERE is mind-blowing to me. Putting together a graduation photo book and looking at baby pictures these past few weeks? Maybe not such a good idea. And then she sent this video of her “signing off” at school, and forget about it. Water-works. I need all your best “almost” (son will be a senior) empty-nester advice!

When I'm not making photo books or spending book profits on graduation party and college supplies, I'm actually writing like crazy these days! The ideas are flowing, and I'm making such good progress on a new medieval story a June release is not out of the question. The first line is "Castle Blackwood, England, 1151”  which means… it's prequel novella to the Knight School Chronicles!  One year before the events of To Honor, our favorite instructors brought in early recruits to prepare Castle Blackwood for the Guardians of the Sacred Oak, including swordsman Sir Rystan and castellan Lady Anwen. Once betrothed (but no longer) neither knows the other has been tasked with helping the secret order of knights prepare for the missions to come. 😉

I need your help. This summer, I'll be releasing my very first special edition paperback! Meet, Play, Love,  my standalone vacation romance, has been re-designed and will be accompanied by a brand new steamy scene along with (for preorders) a special hand-signed postcard from Sicily and a sticker.
