MĀNAWATIA A MATARIKI
We hope your first weeks of te tau hau Māori has been full of whānau, food and of course, books. We've been nestling down with stories of reflection, rebirth and cosmic wisdom, hiding away from those tempestuous winter winds.

Jenna recently attended Australia's BookPeople conference in Brisbane. Here she is below on the ‘Hypothetical’ panel and with fellow booksellers Megan (Brunswick Bound, Melbourne), Renee (Booksellers NZ, Timaru Bookshop), Mandy (Bookety Book Books) and Martene (Unity Auckland). We are looking forward to seeing more NZ Booksellers & industry friends at our July conference in a few weeks.
Wendy is about to host her family visiting from Dubai, George is fresh off the plane from his European summer (his favourite act at Primavera being Charli XCX & Troye Sivan), Ava has just turned 18 (!) and our students are finishing their exams.

We'd love you to join us this Friday 3rd July - Suri will be in conversation with Dominic Hoey about his new novel, 1985. We've sold over 200 copies of this book since its May release. Scroll down for event details.

We've all been reading as much as humanly possible - see a curation of recent releases, our latest picks & reviews below.

Love,

The Time Out team x
