Your List of Remote Job Leads + More For Friday, May 30th

Good morning! Here are your remote job updates for today.

FlexJobs - (Resource) - This is one of my favorite sites to use for finding remote jobs and learning about new companies that hire remotely. Most of what I see there when I check the listings pays well above minimum wage and are known companies.

The great thing about FlexJobs is that they guarantee ALL listings are scam-free. They list hundreds of jobs -- all of which are either remote or flexible in nature -- five days per week. There are also no ads on the site!

Because there are no ads, they do charge a membership fee since that is the only way they can see a return on their job-searching efforts.

But it's cheap -- you can get access for a few weeks for just $2.95 for 14 full days! If you sign up and don't like it, it's very easy to cancel right away so you are not billed again. You can do it any point during your 14 days of checking things out.

Paid Viewpoint - Survey Respondents. This is one of my personal favorite survey panels because the surveys are extremely short, they pay in cash rather than points, and it doesn't take very long (at least for me) to cash out since the threshold is only $5. You can get PayPal payment or gift cards like Amazon. Just something to do for extra, but it's a good one.

Rent the Runway – CX Stylist (full-time, remote, U.S. only: AZ, CO, FL, IL, KS, MA, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA). Provide personalized fashion styling advice to members via Zoom, building client relationships and enhancing customer retention. Assist with outfit selection for everyday and special events, offer fit and styling tips, and champion the RTR brand. Requires 3+ years’ experience as a stylist or personal shopper (virtual or in-person), strong luxury fashion knowledge, excellent communication skills, and comfort with tools like Zoom, Slack, and G Suite. Schedule: Saturday–Wednesday, 9 am–6 pm. Pay: $18–$22/hour, depending on experience. RTR provides equipment but requires reliable high-speed internet.

Composely – Freelance Content Editors. Anywhere in the US. Bachelor's degree, 1 year of prior copy editing experience and knowledge of SEO are all required. You'll also need to pass an assessment test. Work as much or as little as you want. You'll earn US$0.02/word on projects that range from 500 to 4000+ words.

eScribers - Legal Proofreader. US. You will be part of a team of proofreaders who ensure the integrity of hearing transcripts from courts across the U.S. This includes verifying the accuracy of the audio record as well as adhering to the strict formatting guidelines each jurisdiction requires. As an independent contractor you will be compensated on a per-page basis. This is comparable to other professionals in the legal proofreading field. You will submit/approve invoices for the work you complete and will be paid weekly via direct deposit.

YouGov - Survey Respondents. This is a survey panel that has been around for quite a number of years. They are always needing new panelists to provide their opinions on interesting topics (mostly current events). They do pay and offer a lot of different options for payment including PayPal, bank transfer, Amazon cards, and more. They are open to the US and UK, and you need at least $15 worth of redeemable points in your account to be able to withdraw your earnings.

Teladoc Health – Mental Health Therapist (1099 contractor, remote, U.S.). Seeking licensed LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC therapists in CA, VA, PA, GA, OH, NC, or IN to provide virtual individual therapy to adolescent and adult clients via secure video or phone. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, evidence-based therapy, and accurate documentation. Must have 3+ years post-licensure experience, strong clinical skills, comfort working independently, and willingness to add licenses (Teladoc funds license expansion). Pay: \$65/visit (\$74/visit for CA Medicaid enrolled therapists). Flexible schedule, no billing/admin work, supportive infrastructure, and national client reach.
