What detail surprises you in this painting?

Jennifer noticed that the color of the sky in the far right windowpane is different than in the other windows.

Carole noticed the blue glove on the girl who is reading; Honza noted the exposed hands and neck of the girl who is sleeping.

An anonymous reader noted that neither woman is appreciating the view.

Two readers spotted that one girl has flowers; another that the girl on the left has oranges.

Mary noted that their billowing dresses are identical.

To take it a step further, imagine a story around one of those details. For example, what's the story around the blue glove?

Thank you to this month's contributors!

Why do we do this exercise?
It sharpens your intuition, which is your brain's ability to focus on spotting exceptions to the system, rather than pattern recognition.

Developing this skill enables you to identify emerging possibilities faster than others do.

Developing intuition can boost innovation, resilience, life purpose, coaching and leadership ability.

First name / Reader,  would you like to contribute to our next Intuition issue?

Next week, Imagination.

In the meantime, we're revisiting Angus's appearance on Singularity Radio where he explains how your brain operates like a computer and like more than a computer.

As always, thank you for reading,
